Job Title: Renewal Negotiator
Reporting to: Renewals Team Leader
Staff responsibility: none
Overall Purpose of the role:
To ensure maximum commissions earned in renewal negotiations between landlord and tenant.
To build and maintain relationships with landlord and tenant introduced via front office.
Specific Tasks and duties:
Contact the landlord and the tenant and offer legally correct, professional advice to both parties three months prior to tenancy expiry date
Negotiate the optimum renewal period at the highest rent and fee levels possible
Record thoroughly all actions and conversations on database
Conduct a weekly chase of all outstanding negotiations
Pass all details termination through to branch, management department and accounts department.
Uphold department service standards
Deliver key performance measures to personal target
Knowledge/skill/Experience
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Professional phone manner
Excellent communication skills
Non-confrontational objection handling with all levels of clients
Able to apply relevant legal knowledge
Time management skills; planning, prioritizing and organization
Computer literate ? Word, Excel and Outlook
